Notification of findings

After the examination appointment in our practice, the written findings are sent to the attending physician by post and fax as quickly as possible. The same applies to the completed examination of samples sent to our laboratory.

In urgent cases, you can also call us to enquire about your findings. For data protection reasons, we cannot answer calls directly, but will call you back on the number you provide.

Please note the following important information and instructions with regard to our appointment scheduling and your upcoming appointment at our practice.

We need the following information from you to make an appointment:
  • Is there a pregnancy?
  • Why would you like a consultation and which examination would you like to attend?
  • When is your expected date of delivery? Is it a singleton or multiple pregnancy? Were there any abnormalities?
  • Contact details (telephone number, address)
  • Do you have a referral slip, are you a self-payer or are you privately insured?
  • What is the name of your gynaecologist or referring doctor?
You should bring this with you to your appointment:
  • Maternity passport (if you are pregnant)
  • Insurance card (if you have statutory health insurance)
  • Examination findings (if available)
  • Referral slip (if available)
Important information about your appointment at our practice

Your doctor will issue you with an order referral (yellow referral slip) if the examination planned with us is deemed to be medically necessary. If you would like to be Puncture you should arrange a check-up with your gynaecologist for the following day.

Further information

To be on the safe side, please allow at least two hours for your appointment at our practice. This will allow us to take plenty of time for each examination and discuss the necessary measures in peace. We also ask for your understanding if there is a longer waiting time.

As we want to concentrate fully on you and your (impending) pregnancy during the appointment, we expressly ask you not to bring small children to the appointment. In addition, the longer waiting times can be very tiring for small children.

After the examination, we will enclose a green card with your maternity pass. Please complete this card after the birth and send it back to our practice. The maternity clinic often also takes on this task and sends us the card. Your information on the green card is very important for checking the quality of our work.
