Dear parents-to-be,
Congenital heart defects occur in around 0.8 % of all newborns. They are the biggest problem in terms of numbers and are significantly more common than all other malformations or chromosomal defects (such as Down's syndrome). They also pose a major problem prenatally because it takes a lot of time and experience to learn detailed ultrasound assessment.
We take care of affected parents-to-be - outside of our daily clinic and hospital work. Practice activity - the time needed to make a reliable diagnosis. Furthermore, we are there for you as a kind of companion when it comes to organisational support and further medical care.
Our competent and empathetic practice team always endeavours to give our patients not only professional expertise but also the feeling that they are receiving the best possible care and are always in good hands.
